Holistically advocating for children and their families to build an authentic and joyful life.

Creating solutions where students and families flourish regardless of challenges.

ADVOCACY MEETS NATURE

I empower students and their families to address learning differences at school, at home and in the community through advocacy and compassionate healing.

Using a holistic approach, I work together with families, schools, and communities to ensure that the student has all the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Eric

I understand what it’s like to be a child with learning differences because I have been one.

I uniquely understand the pain a child can endure in public school while trying to navigate life in a place you are not thriving in has given me a unique and firsthand perspective in this work.

Once I found my learning style and type of intelligence, I received my masters degree in special education and later received my Ed.S. in Special Education Administration. I attended the William and Mary Law School program for Special Education Advocacy in 2013.

I have been a public and private school special education teacher and an administrator of special education for over 20 years. My work has impacted and changed the lives of hundreds of children and their families.

HOW I WORK WITH FAMILIES

Together we find solutions for your family

Advocacy Map

A comprehensive interview where we take a deep dive into the challenges you and your family are facing. We talk about what you've already tried, what your goals are for your family, and how you'd like to get there.

I review your child's educational file and history so I can get a full picture of what's been going on. Then I'll come up with a plan to to help you reach your goals and heal your family.

You can continue on your own or work with me as an advocate and guide. The cost of the Advocacy Map is applied to the full project if you move forward to my Learning Adventure services.

Learning Adventure

Based on your Advocacy Map interview, I work with you to advocate for your child to get them the services that they need.

I work with the school to find a solution, sometimes drawing on other experts in the field to help figure out the best outcome. We work together to not only secure services, but also to address issues that learning differences can create within your family unit and in the greater community to empower your child to live their fullest life.

With a focus on holistic healing, we help heal the family as a whole and reduce the stress and strife these differences can create, giving everyone a clear path forward to a brighter future.
